COVID-19 Relief for Those Experiencing Financial Difficulty

Are you looking for some COVID-19 relief? During this unprecedented time it is understandable to be feeling overwhelmed.  The news is filled with story after story of pain and despair and it seems like there is very little hope out there.  My purpose of this post is to inform you that there IS hope.

Many people are hurting both emotionally and financially during this difficult time.  The uncertainty of not knowing when work will resume or if major layoffs will be imminent, leaves all of us unsure about what to do regarding our bills.  As a result, many people will be struggling following the effects of this pandemic.

There are many lenders and financial institutions offering help to consumers during this difficult time.  Some are offering forbearance or deferment programs to aid those having financial difficulties as a result of COVID-19.  While every company will have their own guidelines and steps to follow in order to take advantage of the relief programs, they all have one thing in common: it is up to YOU to reach out to them to start the process!

Below is a list of some of the major credit card companies, lenders and service providers and their respective pages regarding how they are helping during this pandemic.  Contact your lenders, credit card companies, utility providers, and any other service providers you subscribe to in order to see what relief they are offering during this difficult time.

Let us remember that while we are uncertain of what’s to come, this too shall pass.  Please continue to follow all CDC and recommended guidelines and do your best to limit your interactions unless otherwise, absolutely necessary. If we all do our part, we can defeat this together.
